This Privacy Policy describes the way we collect, store, use, and protect your personal information. This policy applies to personal information we collect when you sign up for Patientco; access or use our website, products, or services (collectively, the “Services”); or when you otherwise interact with us, including through e-mail, text and other electronic messages. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by (i) us offline or through any other means, or (ii) any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from our Services.
We use the term “personal information” throughout this Privacy Policy to mean information that can be associated with a specific person and used to identify that person. A website is capable of collecting certain information about persons who access a website or attempt to use its functions. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of certain features on a website, such as purchasing products or services from us. To the extent that we provide access to this information to others, the parameters for disclosure are described in this Privacy Policy. We collect information from our users at several different points on our website. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not identify a specific user. This section sets forth the types and sources of data collected.
In order to provide our Services, we may collect the following types of information:
Information you provide: If you use certain Services, you may be required to provide us certain information. We may combine this information with cookies or other sources of information to enhance the user experience.
- When you register for our Services, we ask you for personal information, such as your name, email address, mobile phone number, and an account password.

Information we collect from your use of the Services and other interactions you have with us:
We may collect and store your usage information about how you use the Services, including your access times, location, browser types and language, transactions with Interactive Voice Response (“IVR”) systems, and Internet Protocol addresses. This information is collected and may or may not include personal information, and we may maintain it or associate it with personal information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. A website employs cookies to provide certain features but will not use cookies to obtain data from your hard drive. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Services. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Services. Cookies enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our website.
- Local Stored Objects. Certain features of our Services may use local stored objects to collect and store information about your preferences and navigation to, from and on our Services. Local stored objects are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies. Local stored objects help us enhance your experience on our website.
- Interactive Voice Response. IVR is an automated voice-response technology that allows our systems to interact with you when you call us through the use of voice applications or by touch on a telephone keypad. This allows us to gather information related to your call and route your call to the appropriate representative.

We use computer safeguards, such as firewalls and data encryption, we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files, and we authorize access to personal information only for those employees who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information transmitted to or through our Services. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on or within the Services.
Links to Other Web Sites; Third-Party Products & Applications.
Patientco is not responsible for any practices employed by websites linked to or from our Services, nor their information or content. Please remember that when you use a link to go from our Services to another website, this Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by a website on the domains owned and controlled by us. Your browsing and interaction on any other website is subject to that website’s own rules and privacy policies. Please read over those rules and privacy policies before proceeding.
If you use devices and/or accessories capable of voice service technology, including but not limited to Amazon Digital Services LLC’s (“Amazon”) Alexa voice services and/or Google LLC’s (“Google”) Google Home products and Google Assistant voice services, to obtain information about Patientco, including but not limited to our Services, you understand and acknowledge that you are also subject to and governed by the terms of the applicable third-party and their corresponding devices, accessories, and/or technology.
Additionally, some content or applications, including advertisements, on or through the Services are served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers and application providers. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. These third parties may use, without limitation, cookies, alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies, to collect information about you when you use our Services. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
Children’s Privacy.
The Services are not intended for use by anyone under the age of sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If a child whom we know to be under the age of sixteen (16) sends personal information to us online, we will only use that information to respond directly to that child or notify parents.
“Do Not Track” Disclosures.
Certain state laws require us to indicate whether we honor “Do Not Track” settings in your browser that allow you to notify websites that you do not wish to be “tracked” by third parties concerning targeted advertising. Do Not Track is a public-private initiative that has not received a consensus as to exactly what technical or other actions those parties receiving the signal should take. As a result, Do Not Track has not yet been standardized and most websites, including our website, do not alter their behavior or change their services when they receive a “Do Not Track” flag or signal from your Internet browser. You can, however, make decisions about your privacy and the advertisements you receive as described in the information provided in this Privacy Policy. We adhere to the standards set out in this Privacy Policy.
California Privacy Rights.
California residents are entitled to information about our practices regarding the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. If at any time we begin selling Personal Information, we will update this Privacy Policy.
Under California law, California residents may opt-out of our disclosure of personal information about them to third parties for their marketing purposes. If you do not want us to disclose information to other companies for their marketing purposes, please contact us by any of the ways described in the “Contact Information” section below. Pursuant to 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to request from a business with whom the California resident has an established business relationship, certain information with respect to the types of personal information the business shares with third parties for direct marketing purposes by such third party and the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared such information.
International Users.
The Services are intended for use in the United States, and we do not target or direct the Services to users in the European Union or otherwise outside of the United States. If you are visiting from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that you are transferring information about you, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as the European Union, and you consent to the transfer of information about you, including your personal information, to the U.S.; and the use and disclosure of information about you, including your personal information, as described in this Privacy Policy.
Modification.
We reserve the right to amend our Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason by posting a revised version on our website and by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes to the way that we process your personal notification, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of such changes, which may include posting notice on the website or notifying you at the email address associated with your account. The revised version will be effective at the date and time we post it, unless otherwise indicated. If the modified Privacy Policy is not acceptable to you, your only recourse is to cease using our Services. You agree that your continued use of the Services constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms contained in the then-effective Privacy Policy.
