Brendan O’Connor
EVP of Product Management
Brendan is responsible for the development of Waystar’s long-term product strategy as well as product management efforts. He joined Waystar in 2018 and previously served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development, responsible for the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of mergers and acquisitions. Brendan has experience in corporate development, private equity, and capital markets roles.
Prior to joining Waystar, Brendan served as a corporate development leader at Cotiviti, a provider of healthcare payment integrity solutions. Before that, he served as a member of the investment team at Lightyear Capital, an NYC-based private equity firm. Brendan began his career in investment banking in the Leveraged Finance group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
