Rajan Odayar

Rajan Odayar serves as Waystar’s Chief Digital, Information & Cybersecurity Officer, overseeing the company’s digital transformation, information technology, cybersecurity, enterprise artificial intelligence, risk and compliance, payment operations, payer operations, and payer relations functions.

With more than 25 years of executive leadership experience, Rajan has helped organizations accelerate growth through technology innovation, operational transformation, cybersecurity resilience, and AI-driven modernization across healthcare, retail, CPG, payments, financial services, fintech, and technology sectors.

At Waystar, Rajan leads the company’s digital, information, cybersecurity, and enterprise AI strategy, driving initiatives that strengthen security, enhance operational excellence, improve client outcomes, and support scalable, long-term growth. His focus is on leveraging emerging technologies and data-driven innovation to advance business performance while maintaining the highest standards of trust, resilience, and compliance.

Prior to joining Waystar, Rajan held senior leadership positions at Oracle Corporation, LexisNexis, ProQuest (now Clarivate), Vantiv (now Worldpay/FIS), and Fiserv, where he led large-scale technology, operations, and transformation initiatives.

Rajan holds an MBA in Finance and Technology, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has completed executive education programs at MIT, Harvard University, Cornell University, Columbia University, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also an alumnus of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, the University of Oxford School of Business, and the University of Cambridge School of Business.
