Chris Schremser oversees all engineering functions related to Waystar’s product, including its artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives and the platform’s advanced security features and protocols. Chris is also responsible for defining and driving Waystar’s product vision, strategy and execution. A team member who formed Waystar, Chris was previously CTO of ZirMed, a role he entered in 2002.
Chris has a proven track record of success with diverse technology teams, ensuring that all engineering factors mesh cohesively to provide and maintain a superior finished product. He has expertise in complex system requirements, including HIPAA, HITECH and PCI regulations.
Chris holds a BS in Telecommunications from the University of Evansville.
