Chris Schremser oversees all engineering functions for Waystar’s software platform, including artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. He is also responsible for defining and driving Waystar’s technical vision, strategy, and execution.
As a founding team member of Waystar, Chris previously served as CTO of ZirMed, a role he assumed in 2002.
Chris has a proven track record of success with diverse technology teams, ensuring that all engineering disciplines work cohesively to deliver and maintain a high performing software platform. He has expertise in complex system requirements, including HIPAA, HITECH, and PCI regulations.
Chris holds a BS in Telecommunications from the University of Evansville.
